I Rise- Edition X

Art Houz has taken a few initiatives to accomplish their set goals. One such is to pay respect and tribute to senior women artists from different parts of Karnataka. Throughout history, senior women artists have faced various challenges, including gender bias, societal expectations, and limited Opportunities. Despite these obstacles, many women have made significant contributions to the world of visual arts. These women artists across borders, have put up their expression of emotions, dreams, and spirits on various mediums. We present the viewer with an eclectic array of artworks of Bharati Sagar, Dhanalakshmi S, Dimpy Menon, Mangala Shivsharan Uppin, Nirmala Kumari CS, Prathibha T S, Pushpamala N, Renuka Kesaramadu, Renuka Markande and Sayeeda Begum.

International Women's Day also serves as a reminder of the unfairness and prejudice that still exist in our society. Each woman is a beacon of inspiration, breaking barriers, shattering stereotypes, and making invaluable contributions to every facet of life. May this day serve as a reminder of the remarkable power and potential within every woman. Together, let's continue to uplift, support, and empower one another, fostering a world where all women can thrive, shine, and lead with grace. Cheers to the incredible women who have paved the way, those who are making history today, and the generations of women yet to. Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and extraordinary achievements of women worldwide. These women, among many others, have not only overcome challenges related to their gender and age but have also left a lasting impact on the art world.
