Gajraj Chavan
Gajaraj Chavan winner of several major awards and accolades, including the Kalanidhi Puraskar in 2012, the Best Teacher Award was felicitated by the Maharashtra Government and the 85th National Academic Award by Lalit Kala Akademi presented by the Government of India, Gajaraj Chavan was a versatile name in the contemporary art scene. He was a participant in more than seventy-five group shows across India and abroad; notably in the 5th International Osaka Triennale in Japan and the International Print Biennale at Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1994 and the 11th International Print Biennale in Taiwan in 2003.
