R.M. Palaniappan
R.M. Palaniappan is an artist whose works are deeply rooted in science and psychology. His artworks incorporate symbols and notations derived from scientific concepts. Initially known as a Printmaker, Palaniappan later transitioned to drawing and acrylic paintings. He views drawing as a quest to discover both physical and spiritual dimensions, with the conscience bearing witness to this journey. His artworks often feature elements reminiscent of aerial views, inspired by his memories of witnessing the Earth from above during flights, as well as imagery related to flying machines, influenced by his fascination with World War II cinema. Through his art, Palaniappan aims to convey the sense of liberation found in exploring both outer and inner spaces, where encountering extraordinary light becomes a transformative experience.
