She has exhibited widely in group and solo shows in India and abroad. “I started working with etching and aquatint metal plates and later I combined it with multiple applications. My fascination for etching is basically for strong lines and vivid textures which primarily form the base of my work. My recent work is an expression of my understanding of society at large and in particular womanhood and her existence both biologically and culturally in a patriarchal society. A recurring theme of feminism with which I work is the ‘AMBUBACHI’ the symbol of the power of creativity”.
