I AM A WOMAN, I THINK AS A WOMAN, I SEE AS A WOMAN

Through their respective bodies of work, artists Alamu Kumaresan, Rajashree Nayak and Sonal Varshneya offer a multifaceted exploration of women's lives, drawing from personal experiences and observations. In capturing the essence of contemporary womanhood, they unveil the beauty in the seemingly mundane aspects of daily life, whether set in rural landscapes, urban environments, or intimate personal moments.

Each artwork is a narrative unto itself, inviting viewers to explore into the intricacies of the female experience. Sonal's Vachik series, rendered with playful etchings, recounts a journey from childhood to adulthood, while Rajashree's etching pieces depict women navigating life with independence and modernity. Alamu's careful embroidery and mixed media compositions inspect into the psychological depths of womanhood, presenting realistic portrayals rich in detail.

This exhibition serves as a testament to the resilience and strength of women, who persist in their identity despite societal patriarchal pressures. As we engage with these artworks, let us not only admire but also introspect, connecting with the essence of womanhood and contemplating our own paths in a changing world.
