I have always been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of movement. It’s why my paintings have free flowing forms used repeatedly to show motion in its purest form. It also helps make visual connections throughout the composition. I also draw inspiration from the Modernist tradition, and the concept of emphasizing a material's 'competency', in my case, the flatness of paint and its saturated pure colour.
Everyone can read a painting. They speak louder than words. But for some reason, we hesitate. Born to interpret every visual that crosses us, my art is open to you.
To me, it is a play of optical illusions, a play between space and visual movement that I have created, by exploring a few key compositional elements with different geometric formulae. It is a step towards creating a language for me that expresses my characteristics, my personality, my emotions and my beliefs.
To you, this is it is your own Rosetta stone, to be deciphered in a new way, every time you pass by, in a world with no right answers; in a world where only your answers matter.
